Ladies and gentlemen, strap yourselves in, finals week one has arrived. Last week we gave you a quick summary of what the journey has looked like for each team in the top eight, from some powerful teams who haven’t faltered all season to the teams that managed to scrape into the eight just in the nick of time. This week, we’ve got all eyes on the weekend and we are ready for finals footy.

We’ve finally arrived. Season 2021 has had it all, and we’ve stayed glued to our seats the whole time. With some i not most of us spending more time in our houses than we’d care to, the 2021 season has acted as a lifeline, and now we enter the pointy end. We don’t know about you, but we think this finals season might just be one of the greats.

Despite it being a tough season, with the CO-VID19 pandemic impacting the sporting world, and all industries, the NRL resumed after two rounds were played prior to formal restrictions being announced. It’s been a very different season, with some disruption to play.

Although it’s been a tough year, particularly with the impact of the CO-VID19 pandemic hitting all sectors, the 2020 AFL Premiership season still went ahead, albeit a shaky start. With it, there have been some big changes to the season, and undoubtedly a very different, if not disrupting state of play.

The year of 2020 officially marks a decade of UFC live events in Australia and New Zealand. For the past ten years, the UFC has been bringing the very best mixed martial arts fighters in the world to our screens and our shores.

Earlier this week, the UFC announced a packed schedule of feature numbered events and fight nights taking place throughout July, and in that announcement, the highly anticipated, ‘UFC Fight Island’ was revealed.
